BALLERINA SILOUETTE CRAFT:
These ballet silhouettes can be used for a plethora of creative projects! The ballerina's tutus can be adorned with tissue paper, DIY tulle, or coffee filters, as we did. Enjoy creating the art, or frame it and hang it in a kids' room or nursery!

Come on, let's get going!
1. To begin, print the templates for the ballerina silhouettes onto white cardstock.
2. After obtaining your printouts, give your paper a light colour wash and allow it to dry. Watercolours or ordinary paint diluted with water can be used.
3. You can use a spray bottle, markers, or watercolours to embellish your coffee filters while your paper dries! To protect your surface during this stage, spread out some wax paper. Paint each coffee filter with two distinct colours with watercolours. You can apply paint on the coffee filters with brushes or droppers. Use markers to colour the coffee filters as desired, and then mist with water.
4. You'll need to let your coffee filters dry overnight. Place a paper towel over your wax paper and let them dry.
5. After it dries, fold it over to form a triangle. Next, trim the tip to the appropriate length for the ballet dancer's tutu placement.
6. Make another coffee filter the same size by getting one more.

7. All you need to do is attach the coffee filters to your paper using glue. The top coffee filter can be left flat or slightly flared to give it a more ruffled appearance.
